is the sound of leaving one life behind without quite knowing what comes next.

These seventeen songs follow my first years in Chicago, where everything felt bigger, louder and more complicated than the small Illinois town I’d left behind. They’re about finding confidence, making mistakes, falling for the wrong people, questioning everything, leaning on friends, and slowly working out who I wanted to become.

The country girl who arrived in the city hasn’t disappeared. She’s still here. She’s just learnt to mix dusty back roads with late-night trains, dive bars, noisy streets and a growing belief that she doesn’t have to fit anyone else’s expectations.

This isn’t the end of the story. It’s the messy middle. The point where uncertainty slowly becomes confidence.
